Our Team

Jill Parish

Partner

Jill is an energetic, highly detail-oriented professional with over 20 years of experience in organizational and people development. She has extensive insight into education and leadership- including curriculum design, development, and delivery, stakeholder relations and leading teams.

As a Partner at ThinkDev, she shares her passion for development by connecting with people to provide a world class experience for our clients. She is equally passionate about providing time and space for our ThinkDev team of Consultants and Employees to grow personally and professionally.

Prior to partnering with Jason to start ThinkDev, Jill held leadership roles in multiple organizations including University of California, Davis, Adventist Health and University of California, San Francisco. In these roles she was fortunate enough to work with smart and talented people who helped her understand what works – and what doesn’t – in the people and organizational development space.

Jill spends most of her spare minutes shuttling her three sons back and forth to activities, telling them to stop wrestling, completing yet another Costco Delivery order and Googling new jokes about teeth for her dentist husband. Born and raised in the Sacramento area, she received her BA in Communications and MA in Educational Leadership from Sacramento State.

She could not be more thrilled to be able to fulfill her dream of spending her days helping to develop others.

Jason Roberts

Partner

Jason is a dynamic speaker and facilitator, and a thoughtful coach and trainer. He has served hundreds of leaders across dozens of organizations by helping them bring order to chaotic work environments. As a Partner at ThinkDev, he works with clients to make sense of seemingly intractable problems, and co-create a development path forward to fully understand and resolve the root causes of those problems. Before joining forces with Jill at ThinkDev, Jason has been an organizational development consultant, coach, and trainer for multiple consulting firms and academic organizations.

He has worked at all levels, from a front line program manager to Executive Officer, and brings that full experience to the ThinkDev team and clients. Outside of obsessing over all things organizational development, Jason enjoys spending leisure time outdoors with his wife and son, and training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.

Brett Gardenhire

Partner

A specialist in professional and organizational development with a focus in integrative thinking, decision making and situational leadership, Brett adds to ThinkDev over 25 years’ experience in leading change management endeavors as an executive, coach and consultant. As VP of Development and Delivery, he supports our clients and the ThinkDev team in building the concepts, tools and processes that enhance our client’s workplace cultures, employee engagement, and the creative application of leadership skills.

Spanning seven industries and a career evolution that has included involvement in nearly every business role, Brett has experienced a leadership perspective from the responsibilities of the assistant to the mid-manager to the CEO and finally the entrepreneur. This progression of roles has afforded him the cooperative ability in providing clients and partners at every level with clarity in their strategic goals. For Brett, the role of the coach pervades every facet of his work whether it be in advisement, training or development; ultimately what is best for you is most important and the journey in getting there as partners is where the real transformation comes from.

Brett holds an M.Ed in Organizational Development from Colorado State University; a B.S. in Business Management from Sonoma State University; and a B.A. in Media Production from Columbia College.  He is a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) and Coach Mentor through the International Coach Federation (ICF).

Life is vast and varied and outside of the time spent with his ThinkDev family Brett enjoys a pastoral life with his incredible wife Kathryn; performing and recording music, reading and writing on philosophy/epistemology and getting lost in the canons of the world’s great books.
